This Video discusses the issue of Network Routing of faxes being delayed, sometimes for half an hour or more.
In Enterprise Fax Manager > Utility > Show Work Requests, the FILEROUTE counter may show a large number of jobs, or the count may continually increase instead of decrease. In general anything here in triple digits that cannot be accounted for by a large batch type job is typically cause for concern, or at the least whould warrant further investigation by a RightFax administrator.
You may notice that this problem is more likely to occur during periods of heavy volume.
In Windows Event Viewer, the Application or RightFax Logs may show errors or warnings from the RightFax WorkServer Modules.
This problem may occur because there are not enough WorkServer resources dedicated to processing FileRoute requests, or because access to network directory shares is interrupted.
First, check the Windows Event Logs for errors or warnings from the RightFax WorkServer Modules. If there are errors, further troubleshooting may be required to address specific issues documented in the logging.
If there are no errors, then there are likely more FileRoute requests than the existing WorkServer Modules can process. Enable the FileRoute service on more of your existing WorkServers, or add new WorkServer modules, and enable the FileRoute option on them. A WorkServer dedicated to doing only FileRoute (or any other task) is able to process requests more quickly than WorkServers than perform multiple functions.
