This brief tutorial will walk you through the steps to configure multiple RightFax users to receive the same inbound fax.
Hello my name is Jay Campbell with the Fax Guys for RightFax University.
Today we are looking at how to route faxes to multiple recipients in RightFax. This video was recorded at 1280 by 720 resolution for High Definition and is best viewed in full screen mode.
Use the following steps to route incoming faxes to multiple recipients in RightFax:
1. Open the user that is initially receiving the fax within the Enterprise Fax Manager (EFM).
2. Navigate to the Default Receive Settings tab.
3. Enable Automatic Forwarding Options.
4. Change to how you want to receive the fax:
a) Forward to Fax Machine sends to the fax numbers.
b) Forward to Network User(s) sends to other RightFax users.
5. Click OK in the User Edit.
This now forwards the faxes based on the options you select.
With the option 'Forward to Network User(s)', you can select multiple RightFax Accounts by separating them with a comma. The Fax History will reflect the receipt of the fax as well as the forwarding options carried out.
With the option 'Forward to Fax Machine', you can only select one other number to send this to.
The forwarding process creates a duplicate of the fax in the other users' mailboxes. Also, these faxes may have different received times listed in the fax history depending on the specific environment and configuration.
That's it for routing inbound faxes to multiple users in RightFax.
Please check back for more videos covering the many facets of the RightFax software. The RightFax University library is a work under continual progress and we will be updating often.
