This video shows you the configuration to allow inbound faxes to be routed via a redirect phone number instead of the originally dialed fax phone number when you are using Fax-Over-IP.
Here is the process to change this behavior.
This change must be made on the RightFax DocTransport Module service on the server or servers hosting the service.
First, stop the RightFax DocTransport Module service. Open the configuration for this service.
Select your SR140, and then click Configure Brooktrout. Open the Advanced Mode option. Under the IP Call Control Modules click on SIP.
On the IP Parameters tab, click Show Advanced.
To cause the system to use the redirect number as the Called Party Number (where the call is sent), set the Redirect As Called Party slider to 1.
If you want to us the redirect number as the Calling Party Number (where the call originated), then change the Redirect As Calling Party slider to 1 instead.
Click Save, and then Apply, then exit the Brooktrout Configuration Tool.
Click OK in the RightFax DocTransport Module configuration screen to finalize settings.
Restart the DocTransport Module and test, your selected preference should now be in use.
That's it for routing inbound Fax-Over-IP faxes via redirect phone numbers.
