This video will show you the process to add a network printer to RightFax so that you can automatically print faxes that you send or receive.

You can define an unlimited number of network printers in RightFax and make them available for automatic printing of faxes and other automated network print functions. Printers can be added individually or imported in groups from your network.

To import printers

In Enterprise Fax Manager, on the Utility menu, click Import Printers from Network.
The Import Network Printers dialog box opens.

Select the network context from which to import.

You can also search for printers with specific characteristics. Click Set Default Printer Information, and then set the printer driver, paper size, paper type, and whether the printer is set to print to an IP port. In general, directly selecting the specific printer, or using the Find Printers in Selected Context works well and tends to behave as expected so let's look at that option a little closer.

Click Find Printers in Selected Context. Depending on the size of the network, this scan can take several minutes. To cancel the search, click Stop Loading.

The list of available printers appears in the Current printer list.

Select the printers, and then click Import Selected Printers.

After at least one network printer has been set up in Enterprise Fax Manager, you can configure RightFax user profiles to automatically print sent or received faxes.

The ability to automatically print sent and received faxes can also be configured by individual users in the FaxUtil client application. This is configured on the user under the Automatic Printing options tab, you can select Inbound and Outbound options and there are some further granular settings in these sub-categories.

That's it for adding and using network printers for automatic printing with RightFax.
