This video shows you how to configure FaxUtil to use the Trash folder. This option helps to recover faxes that were unintentionally deleted, or deleted and need to be recovered.
In RightFax FaxUtil, if you have the option "Use Trash folder when deleting" enabled your deleted fax gets moved to your trash folder. The fax record itself is not marked as deleted in the database, but it can be marked for deletion if you manually delete the record from the trash folder (hard deleted), have Automatic Fax Aging enabled, or perform manual fax aging.
By default, FaxUtil does not use the Trash folder, but this can be configured under the Tools menu by going to Options > More Options and selecting "Use Trash folder when deleting."
Webutil works in the same manner as FaxUtil.
This option along with other fax retention and recovery configurations in RightFax is covered in more detail in the RightFax University video "Fax Retention & Recovery In RightFax" as well.
That's it for configuring your FaxUtil Trash Folder to recover deleted faxes.
