This short video will walk you through generating a list of users and DID numbers from your RightFax database in SQL.

Hello, welcome to the RightFax University Crash Course.

This short video will walk you through generating a list of users and DID numbers from your RightFax database in SQL.

RightFax has reporting functionality if you happen to own the Enterprise version, RightFax Business Server does not include the RightFax Administrative Tool Enterprise Fax Reporter. Even with the Enterprise license of the software, installing configuring and using the Administrative Tools applets can be time-consuming. This is a fast way to get a simple list of your RightFax users and their configured DID numbers.

For this exercise, you will need access to your RightFax SQL database, and you should be comfortable executing simple scripts.

We are running a brief SQL script to generate the output of the 2 database fields that contain the user and DID data, and then you can simply export that data from SQL to be used as needed.

Open your SQL Server Management Studio, and select the RightFax Database.

We are going to execute the following SQL statement:

SELECT UserID, UserDIDNumber
FROM Users

There you have it, we have a list of RightFax users, with all of their associated DID numbers--fast, and easy. That's it for this installment.

Thanks for watching.
