This video shows you how to install the RightFax Administrative Utilities.
The RightFax Administrative Utilities are a collection of powerful tools for RightFax administrators that are not installed onto the server by default but can be installed on the server as an additional selection from the RightFax product suite. Some of the utilities can also be run from client computers as well.
I won't be going over each tool as this is beyond the scope of this video, but a couple are worth mentioning to give you an idea of what all you can accomplish with them.
Enterprise Fax Reporter - Organizes and presents database information regarding sent and received faxes so you can readily generate reports for billing, data mining and reporting.
The RightFax Document Migration Tool - System administrators can migrate fax records and associated data between RightFax systems. This is useful for staged system migrations between different RightFax versions and simplifies projects such as server consolidations that require moving fax records between systems.
ModUser - A powerful Enterprise application that changes RightFax permissions and options for multiple users at one time.
And PhnPrint - A useful command line utility that prints the published and private phonebook entries of one or more RightFax users to a file or printer.
There are many more utilities included with the application package, but this should give you some idea of the things you can accomplish with the tool set.
The RightFax Administrative Utilities can be installed as part of the regular Setup for the RightFax Product Suite. During the installation process, click the Administrative Utilities feature located at the bottom of the features list.
You can also install the Administrative Utilities on client computers or onto the server by just selecting the Administrative Utilities option when running the product suite, or choosing to modify your existing installation.
All of the RightFax administrative utilities are installed in the RightFaxAdminUtils folder or one of its subfolders on the RightFax server.
That's it for installing the RightFax Administrative Utilities.
