This video will show you how to resolve an issue with sending faxes from RightFax FaxUtil to numbers with a plus sign (+) at the beginning of the dialing string.

Sending faxes to international numbers will often require a Plus sign (+) to send through various fax-over-IP and telephony networks, but when you try to send this fax from RightFax FaxUtil, the "Send" option is greyed out and you are unable to send the fax.

To resolve the issue, Open the Registry on the RightFax server and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeRightFaxFaxserver".

Modify the “AllowedDialingDigits” subkey and add a “+” to the allowed digits.

Reboot the server and test.

As you can see, your faxes can now be sent out when “+” is present in the dialing string.
