This video details a method for resolving issues where outbound faxes get stuck for indefinite amounts of time in "scheduled to be sent" status.
When a RightFax DocTransport service is running with no transports configured (or configured for receive only), it continually pulls messages from the Microsoft Messaging Queue or MSMQ (faxserver_sendfax) and places them back into the queue in an endless loop. This is most commonly seen with one or more application servers that do not have any boards attached to them. However, it can happen with remote DocTransport servers as well.
There is a registry update that can be applied on RightFax servers versions 10.5 Feature Pack 1 and later.
Open the system registry and browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\RightFax\DocTransport (x64) for 64-bit versions of RightFax.
Or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RightFax\DocTransport (x86) for 32-bit versions.
Create a "DontTryToSend" REG_DWORD key, and give it a value of 1.
This must be done for any DocTransport that does not have a transport (board) configured in the affected environment.
Close the registry, and then restart the DocTransport service on the machine. If faxes still display "Scheduled to be sent" then highlight them all, and press CTRL+K to update the status.
